Review by hotel critic
As a marine biologist from Edinburgh with a keen interest in travel, I recently had the opportunity to stay at Holiday Suites. Upon check-in, the staff provided warm and attentive service, promptly offering dining options despite the local mall's Easter closure. The hotel's location is strategically suitable for travelers, being a mere commute from the airport, with Robinsons shopping centre just across the street for additional dining and errands. The breakfast offered a mix of experiences; the a la carte menu initially lacked vegetarian options, but the subsequent buffet was considerably better. Room service maintained cleanliness and comfort, with a tangerine motif that added a refreshing vibe-though I found the air conditioning proximity slightly problematic for my allergies. The hotel also provided free airport shuttle service, which was efficient and appreciated after my island excursions. While the amenities are decent, including a sizeable swimming pool and 24-hour security, I did find the value proposition balanced closely between luxury and cost. Ultimately, for both travelers and nature enthusiasts, it offers reasonable quality without excessive indulgence.
